After the First Minister’s announcement from 14th July that all areas of Scotland move to Covid Level 0 from 19th July, indoor contact sport – inclucing fencing – finally is allowed again for all.
EFC is currently updating their club related Covid guidelines and risk assessments to prepare a safe return to indoor fencing for all EFC fencers at St. Thomas’ of Aquin’s sports hall hopefully from August. We will keep in touch with our members and invite all interested in taking up fencing as a new sport to get in touch for any news and updates via firstname.lastname@example.org .
Training Sessions within Covid Guidelines
All future fencing sessions will require pre-booking, there will be no drop-in fencing, neither for youth classes nor for open fencing sessions. Members, please check your email account (and spam folder) reguarly for the booking link once we are ready to restart or contact email@example.com for any questions.
We will update the website with new training schedules as soon as we can, hopefully for a restart of open sessions in early August followed by youth sessions with the start of the next school term, w/c 23rd August.
Training in Normal Times
In normal, non-pandemic times, the club was open for fencers on three evenings per week, offering
